Service and memberships

Over the years, I’ve been a member of various library organisations, depending on my current job and duties. Currently I am a member of the Special Library Association. This page highlights some other projects and service to the profession or institution.

Digital History/Archives Consortium

In 2016, an NEH grant was awarded to bring together librarians, archivists, teachers, and other professionals working with disability history, first for an initial meeting in Arlington, TX in August of 2016, and then continuing work on building an online portal for disability history resources.

As of June 2017, I am co-chair of the analog materials committee.

Service

  • At the University of Maine at Farmington: served on inaugural Distinguished Staff Awards committee with staff and faculty from entire campus. Managed data for award requirements.
  • At The Blake School: I was the administrator for funds received through the Minneapolis Public Schools No Child Left Behind program that supported professional development for faculty.
